| Blueberry pancakes at Cafe Sweethearts You pour on the maple syrup And I recite in my head 'Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey Your first sweet kiss thrilled me so Sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey I'll never ever let you go'. Your weekend ritual - wander into South Melb market for freshly shucked oysters ONE DOLLAR A POP! with lemon and Tabasco sauce. I'm hesitant to kiss you now You swallowed those poor oysters live! You buy me fresh wild flowers I buy Kazuo Ishiguro's Nocturnes... It is about 'the struggle to keep alive a sense of life's Romance' Wow, I have not heard the word 'Romance' in ages The word feels so old and nostalgic and lovely... We go to NGV for Dali's Liquid Desires My favourite is his Galatea of the Spheres... ![]() Here he has broken up his wife and muse Gala into little atom bits It is spiritual and mystical but also scientific at the same time. It is but ofcourse, Surreal. The biggest treat was watching Disney and Dali's animated collaboration - Destino Walt Disney described it as “a simple love story, where boy meets girl." I turn to look at you in the dark of the little cinema I break you down into your tiny little atom bits and love each one of them. | ||

| I like to be Wowed. I like to have a Song pop out of nowhere that grabs at me makes me stop doing whatever I'm doing makes me hold my breath keeps me spellbound so that there is nothing in the Universe but that Song and I Empire of the Sun - We Are The People We can remember swimming in December, Heading for the city lights, in 1975 We share in each other Nearer than father The scent of a lemon, drips from your eyes We are the people that rule the world A force running in every boy and girl All rejoicing in the world Take me now We can try We lived an adventure Love in the Summer Followed the sun till night Reminiscing other times of life For each every other The feeling was stronger The shock hit eleven Got lost in your eyes I can’t do well when I think you’re gonna leave me, but I know I try Are you gonna leave me now Can’t you be believing now Can you remember and humanize, It was still where we’d energized, Lie in the sand and visualize like its 75 again We are the people that rule the world A force running in every boy and girl All rejoicing in the world Take me now We can try I know everything about you You know everything about me Know everything about us I can’t do well when I think you’re gonna leave me, but I know I try Are you gonna leave me now Can’t you be believing now - ...it's not just their music, it's their conceptually brilliant music videos too! | ||

|---|---|---|---|
| Back to work... Back to preparing for clinical exams... The Written Exam was nothing in comparison to this The Clinicals are all about performing in front of a harsh audience I hate putting on a performance As far as performers go, I'd make a great clown. So yesterday's Mock Exams were a disaster Humiliated, defeated I decided to drown my sorrows in Crown. We love Nobu for drowning in sorrow Its dark walls, dusky lighting and warm sake makes for good comforting We drowned in lychee liquer, asahi and sashimi after sashimi. We wandered through the casino afterwards Lots and Lots of Starry Eyed people Building dreams with poker chips admist Crazy blinking epilepsy-causing lights Then we caught Wolverine at the cinemas It served as a great distraction All that claw and fang business is quite a turn on (I am still in a vampire-love daze) And when we emerged at midnight dizzy from all the testosterone charged action, the Mock Exams felt like a faraway Bad Dream. | ||
